Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Scheduling Manager to provide scheduling and technical schedule management at designated construction project sites. You will apply company policies, plans, specs and contract requirements to keep projects on track.

You will oversee scheduling, communicate with field and office staff, and lead bi-monthly updates while coordinating with superintendents, PMs and client representatives to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of construction scheduling experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Acumen, and MS Office.
• Extensive knowledge of current scheduling standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total scheduling effort to ensure the project is executed on schedule.
• Interface with superintendent/foreman, trades, PMs, client and A/E reps professionally.
• Communicate primarily with the Director of Scheduling, PM, and Superintendent.
• Maintain strong coordination between field and office staff within the department.
• Build rapport with field superintendents and management teams.
• Support project teams with leadership and timely schedule updates.
• Oversee planning, coordination, and supervision of scheduling.
• Keep designated jobs aware of schedule; measure progress with bi-monthly updates.
• Ensure teams plan their work and anticipate procurement needs.
• Assist project team with Time Impact Analysis.
