Job summary

P&E Constructors seeks a Senior Scheduler to develop and maintain CPM schedules for mechanical and electrical construction projects across the United States. You will lead baseline development, resource loading, and progress updates, coordinating with project teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires extensive travel, up to 90%, with per diem support and assignments at various project locations nationwide. A Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of scheduling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 12+ years of construction industry experience, preferably in industrial mechanical/electrical work.
• 7+ years of dedicated project scheduling experience using Primavera P6 on large capital projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (baseline development, loading, progress updating).
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling, total float, and schedule risk analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and meet reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build, status, and maintain detailed CPM project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Establish and maintain the project critical path and analyze total float.
• Sequence work from mobilization to commissioning and tie-in demolition into milestones.
• Complete and sign Schedule Health & Quality Checklist at baseline and updates.
• Load manpower and generate histograms and S-curve reports.
• Produce standard reporting: weekly look-ahead, six-week headcount look-ahead, and 90-day procurement review.
• Enter actuals and update remaining durations from field estimates.
• Develop recovery schedules and TIAs to support change orders and claims.
