Job summary

KDG Construction Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support complex construction and infrastructure projects in the United States. The role focuses on reviewing and maintaining schedules, analyzing critical paths, and identifying risks and delays with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of construction scheduling experience, including at least five (5) years supporting active construction projects.
• Experience scheduling large-scale, complex design and construction projects, including multimillion-dollar programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Version 8.3 or higher.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, project controls, and project management principles.
• Experience reviewing baseline schedules, monthly updates, and schedule narratives.
• Experience with time impact analyses and schedule forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor baseline schedules for compliance with plans, sequencing, logic ties, and resource loading.
• Perform constructability and schedule reviews to identify missing activities and conflicts.
• Review monthly schedule updates, evaluate progress, and analyze variances.
• Maintain an independent shadow schedule using progress reports, field records, and QA documentation.
• Attend construction meetings and review look-ahead schedules to identify delays and impacts.
• Prepare schedule evaluations and recommendations for time extensions and mitigations.
• Develop what-if schedules and mitigation strategies for resequencing and delays.
• Forecast milestones and communicate risks and corrective actions to management.
• Prepare and maintain master schedules coordinating multiple projects and disciplines.
• Create resource-loaded, cost-loaded, and time-phased schedules to support controls.
• Produce schedule reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate reviews with contractors, schedulers, and project managers.
