Job summary

F.H. Paschen is seeking an experienced Scheduler to develop and maintain complex construction schedules in collaboration with project teams in Chicago.

You will craft CPM schedules, manage resource loading, and assess impacts of changes to keep projects on track. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years in construction scheduling with a GC, strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, and a degree in construction management or civil engineering.

Qualifications

• Five years of construction scheduling experience with a General Contractor on large multi‑phased projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for planning and scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• Strong communicator able to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules for proposed projects and detailed CPM schedules for awarded work.
• Collaborate with project team, designers, owners representatives, and subs for planning.
• Develop and maintain resource loaded schedules and critical path logic.
• Provide guidance for schedule variance and contract change impacts.
• Attend meetings on schedule development and updates; produce schedule updates as required.
