Job summary

Irby Construction, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, is seeking a seasoned Scheduler to oversee and develop integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project. You will coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams, enforce scheduling standards, and report progress against baselined schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Primavera P6/P6 Enterprise and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years using Primavera P6/P6 Enterprise including schedules, resources, file management (MPP, XER, XLS).
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, with ability to validate schedule data against field progress.
• Experience collaborating with large, diverse, remote project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to develop and integrate schedules.
• Incorporate resources, costs, and quantities into schedules.
• Enforce scheduling standards per contract requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for scheduling needs with subcontractors and project teams.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings and coordinate with project controls.
• Mentor junior schedulers and coordinators to enhance scheduling expertise.
• Improve scheduling standards and Primavera P6 utilization.
• Travel up to 50% as required.
