Job summary

Hill International is seeking a Scheduler III for our Los Angeles, CA area to manage critical path schedules on large-scale construction programs. The ideal candidate has deep CPM expertise, extensive experience with Primavera P6 and related tools, and a track record of delivering time-sensitive progress reporting.

This full-time hybrid position requires collaboration across multiple teams, frequent updates, and presenting schedule trends, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of scheduling experience with 5+ years in direct support of an active construction project.
• Experience scheduling design and construction of large-scale projects including progress reporting for multi-million-dollar projects ($300M-$1B).
• Knowledge of Project Management principles and Project Control Cycles.
• Understanding CPM scheduling techniques and prioritizing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Review Baseline Construction Schedule for conformance with Plans and Specifications; perform constructability reviews.
• Coordinate with Contractor Scheduler to resolve schedule deficiencies.
• Review Contractor’s Monthly Schedule updates for conformance and identify variances.
• Maintain an Owner shadow schedule and evaluate Contractor’s updates for time impacts.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project trends and risks to management.
