Job summary

Proactive Global in Columbus, OH is seeking a Construction Scheduler to develop and manage project timelines for large infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to sequence tasks and monitor progress against milestones.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field or 6+ years of scheduling experience, and expert use of Primavera P6 and MS Office. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field required
• OR Bachelor degree plus 6+ years of construction scheduling experience in lieu of degree
• 6+ years of full-time, professional construction scheduling experience for Owner/GC preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze construction documents to develop project scope understanding.
• Review Primavera P6 baseline schedules for gaps and inaccuracies; provide formal comments.
• Evaluate monthly contractor schedule updates and document delays and health insights.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of contractor schedule submittals for contractual compliance.
• Develop EVM curves and perform CPM and earned value analyses.
• Monitor progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare technical reports for senior management and coordinate with stakeholders.
