Job summary

Veit is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead health and safety programs across multiple states for our Deep Foundations division. You will supervise safety professionals, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct audits, and drive a strong safety culture on projects involving cranes, rigging, and heavy equipment.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in construction safety, OSHA 30, and a proven ability to partner with project managers and leadership to reduce incidents and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a safety/health discipline and 7+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of safety professionals across regions.
• Design and implement safety policies, procedures, and training aligned with OSHA and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and state regulations across project locations.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training and promote safety awareness across the organization.
