Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Safety Manager in Westmont, IL to lead the development and execution of commercial construction safety programs. You will drive site-specific plans, provide ongoing training, and champion a proactive safety culture across projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and First Aid/CPR/AED. Proficiency with Procore and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.
• Experience developing site-specific safety plans and programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve company-wide construction safety programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop site-specific safety plans, emergency procedures, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead safety training covering fall protection, scaffolding, confined spaces, and other hazards.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and assessments for hazards and non-compliance.
• Monitor safety metrics and KPIs to identify trends and advise leadership.
• Stay current on OSHA regulations and best practices affecting construction safety.
• Maintain OSHA documentation including OSHA 300 logs.
• Partner with project managers and field personnel to enforce safety requirements.
• Lead investigations of incidents with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety processes with minimal disruption.
• Utilize safety management software to document inspections and track performance.
