Job summary
Kiewit is seeking a Safety Manager for transportation and infrastructure projects in California. You will develop and implement safety plans, conduct training, and monitor compliance for staff, subcontractors, and consultants on site.

Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in construction safety management, pref. heavy civil/transport/water projects.
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety within last 5 years; CHST preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations; strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety plans for heavy civil/transport/water projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Kiewit safety standards.
- Lead investigations into incidents and drive corrective actions.
