Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety evaluations.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and field leadership to address safety concerns.
  • Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing employee training initiatives.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents while implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, TxDOT, and company safety standards and procedures.
  • Maintain safety documentation, reporting, and project compliance records.
  • Promote a strong field-focused safety culture built on accountability and teamwork.
  • Assist project teams with pre-task planning, job hazard analysis, and risk mitigation.
  • Support multiple project sites throughout South Texas as needed.
