Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. You will lead OSHA compliance, conduct daily safety meetings, and manage incident reporting and investigations on site.

The role requires seven years of construction safety experience, relevant certifications, and a proven ability to foster a culture where safety is a core value for all workers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience.
• Degree in a safety related field preferred.
• OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus.
• CHST, GSP & ASP required.
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee OSHA compliance on commercial construction projects.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Daily safety audits and inspections.
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors.
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation safety.
