Job summary

Clune Construction Company is seeking a Senior Risk Specialist to manage project and corporate insurance programs, including Builder’s Risk, SDI, and surety bonds. You will collaborate with project teams and brokers to ensure compliance and mitigate risk across regional offices.

The role requires reviewing prime/subcontracts, negotiating with insurers, and maintaining policy exhibits. Travel up to 20% may be required to support regional projects.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication abilities to liaise with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with reviewing contracts and insurance-related documents within construction risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on enrollment, implementation and close-out of Builder’s Risk, SDI policies and surety bonds at project and corporate levels.
• Coordinate with project teams and insurance carriers for loss control visits and risk reviews.
• Negotiate and manage insurance terms with brokers, carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee renewal processes and maintain policy exhibits and addendums.
• Collaborate with project teams to address contract language risk and communicate findings.
