Job summary
American Global LLC seeks a Contractual Risk Manager to join our Infrastructure team. You will analyze contractual risk across major construction and infrastructure projects, review design-build and P3 contracts, and advise on indemnities, insurance terms, and risk allocation.
You will collaborate with legal, insurance, and surety professionals, contribute to risk reports, support negotiations, and help develop practical risk transfer strategies while growing expertise in construction risk
Qualifications
- JD or equivalent legal qualification.
- Experience in construction/infrastructure law.
- Ability to translate complex contract terms into business implications.
Responsibilities
- Analyze major construction agreements with focus on risk allocation.
- Support contract negotiations by identifying exposures.
- Evaluate insurance requirements and risk terms.
- Contribute to risk reports with technical risk assessments.
- Review joint venture, design, and subcontractor documents for indemnities and liability.
- Assist business development and thought leadership efforts.
