Job summary

American Global seeks a Contractual Risk Manager to join the Infrastructure team, analyzing contractual risk on major construction and infrastructure projects. You will review contracts, advise on risk allocation, support negotiations, and collaborate with legal, insurance, and surety professionals to develop practical risk management strategies across sectors.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or equivalent legal qualification required.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or energy sector.
• Strong contract analysis, negotiation, and risk allocation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze major construction and infrastructure agreements focusing on risk allocation and indemnification.
• Support contract negotiations by identifying exposures and advising on risk transfer and insurance terms.
• Develop practical risk management strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Review joint venture, design, and subcontractor agreements for indemnities and liability allocation.
• Contribute to client strategy, business development, and thought leadership.
