Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead quality control on large, multi-phase projects under USACE/NAVFAC requirements. You will write the QC plan, run three-phase control meetings, and own NCR outcomes with the owner's QA team.

You will supervise QC inspectors and technicians, coordinate lab testing and material certifications, and report test results and nonconformances with data-driven clarity. A path to higher roles exists through the QC program.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• USACE CQM-C certificate plus ICC special inspector or NICET Level III certification.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
• Writes clearly under pressure in meetings with superintendents and owner reps.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
