Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE/NAVFAC quality requirements. Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, DOT programs.
• Writes clearly and communicates with owners and superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
