Job summary

Tigua Inc. seeks a Quality Control Manager to own the Contractor Quality Control Plan, three-phase control process, and submittal/testing coordination to ensure deliverables meet contract requirements before Government acceptance.

Role is contingent on contract award; requires leading defect correction, documenting inspections, and coordinating with project management, subcontractors, and Government representatives on site in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Building Construction, or 10 years construction experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience implementing and managing quality control programs on construction projects of similar size and complexity, including interior renovation and building systems work.
• Demonstrated experience executing the three-phase control process: preparatory, initial, and follow-up, with documented preparatory and initial phase meetings.
• Demonstrated experience managing submittal registers, RFIs, testing and inspection coordination, deficiency and rework logs, and punch list closeout.
• Demonstrated ability to identify quality issues, drive root cause correction, and prevent recurrence.
• Experience preparing daily CQC reports and government-facing quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, submit for Government acceptance, and maintain the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan.
• Identify and define Definable Features of Work (DFOW).
• Maintain the current DFOW list and three-phase control schedule.
• Establish and maintain the project submittal register.
• Review submittals for specification and contract compliance before submission to the Government.
• Track submittal review and approval status against procurement, delivery, and installation schedules.
• Coordinate quality-control requirements with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and Government representatives.
