Qualifications

• Accredited two- or three-year Technical or Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent; eight years of work experience, or ten years if no accreditation.
• Effective communication with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local, state/province, and federal/national statutes/guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Review project technical requirements, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Monitor/inspect project execution via surveillance, inspections, and planned audits.
• Assist Site Quality Manager to review construction quality activities for compliance.
• Submit statistics to Site Quality Manager for weekly/monthly reporting.
• Ensure documentation is completed, signed, and retained for turnover.
• Analyze problems and recommend solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Act as Lead Auditor to plan, perform, and report quality audits.
• Provide training on the site quality program to site personnel.
• Review contractor quality programs and test plans; identify hold/witness points.
• Support resolution of quality-related client complaints.
• Verify site NDE program complies with codes and standards.
• Develop site-specific quality procedures as needed.
