Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks a Construction Quality Control Supervisor to supervise QA/QC activities on multiple projects, ensuring compliance with prime contracts, codes, and specifications. The role involves auditing, inspecting, and guiding QA personnel, with emphasis on accuracy, detail, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Accredited two- or three-year technical diploma or equivalent and eight years of related experience (or ten years without accreditation).
• Must be able to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Certification by a recognized authority (ASNT, AWS, API, NACE) is preferred; Fluor internal certifications may be required for certain examiner roles.

Responsibilities

• Review project technical requirements (prime contract, codes, standards, specs).
• Monitor and inspect project execution via surveillance, audits, and inspections.
• Supervise Quality personnel performing audits, examinations, inspections, surveillance, and testing.
• Analyze and make independent recommendations to solve problems per project goals.
• Plan and organize own work and tasks assigned by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Technical or Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent

8 years of related experience

Certification preference (ASNT AWS API NACE)
