Job summary

Group PMX is seeking an Architecture Quality Control Manager-Construction to join our Chicago team. You will partner with project teams and trade contractors to implement quality plans and provide constructability feedback, ensuring consistent QC across all phases of projects.

Responsibilities include leading field reviews, guiding corrective actions, and mentoring teams to promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
• 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
• Valid driver's license to access client property and travel to various property site locations.
• Preferred Certifications: RRO, REWO, CQM-C (USACE), or similar certifications are desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams and trade contractors to develop and implement job-specific quality plans and provide design review feedback on constructability and sequencing.
• Conduct regular field reviews, document findings and guide corrective action; act as quality liaison across teams.
• Lead quality management processes, including pre-installation meetings, first work in place and daily inspections; promote clear communication and collaboration.
• Mentor teams, share knowledge, stay current on industry trends, and promote professional development to elevate quality standards.
