Job summary

McGough Texas is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC at our construction sites. You will establish and manage QA/QC systems, set quality standards, and coordinate with site construction managers and subcontractors to ensure compliance.

You bring 5+ years in field leadership, proficiency with Bluebeam/Procore, and a track record of solving complex quality issues. This role requires travel within the region, working on commercial projects with an emphasis on waterproofing,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction field leadership roles such as Quality Control, Superintendent or Project Manager.
• 5 years of experience leading teams, coaching and developing fellow team members.
• Strong knowledge of building constructability in all definable features of work.
• Management of subcontracted testing firms and scope buyout for those sections.
• Experience with construction-related software including Bluebeam, Microsoft office & Procore.
• Completion of the Construction Quality Management (CQM) within the last five (5) year, or the ability and willingness to obtain the CQM certification within 90 days of onboarding.
• OSHA 30

Responsibilities

• Create & implement the QA/QC management system at site utilizing contracting office requirements.
• Define and establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications as required.
• Review contracting office requirements and ensure they are being met.
• Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues.
• Coordinate and chair QA/QC site weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site trade partners and ensure quality requirements are being met.
