Job summary

McGough is seeking a Quality Control Manager, Industrial, to lead the Quality Control process for all industrial projects within McGough. The role requires guiding QA/QC activities, reviewing drawings and specifications, and ensuring subcontractor QC programs are followed.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering (or related field), 10 years of QC experience in construction, and knowledge of ASME/NBIC/AISC/AWS codes and NDE methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; applicable experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least 10 years of relevant Quality experience in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
• Knowledge of ASME, NBIC, AISC, and AWS codes and standards.
• Knowledge of NDE (Nondestructive Examination), MT, PT, UT, and RT.
• Proficiency with construction-related software and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the Page Turn Process for all projects.
• Verify all Quality Assurance and Quality Control work is implemented by project teams.
• Perform or guide analysis, peer review, and audit of subcontractor quality control programs.
• Review or guide review of construction drawings, technical specifications, reports and other documents.
• Observe site functional performance testing.
• Perform investigations and site reviews to audit work in place.
• Develop and maintain quality requirements to comply with client, code and specification requirements.
• Manage the Quality audit process, including vendor and subcontractor audits.
• Provide technical and industry expertise with respect to Quality programs.
• Provide quality training to team members internal and external.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to align efforts.
