Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our South Florida construction team. Based in Palm Beach area, you will oversee commercial and residential projects, coordinating all site activities and supervising field personnel to deliver on schedule and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in a superintendent-like role, strong leadership, and expertise in blueprints, safety, and construction management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in construction.
• Proven experience in both commercial and residential construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Excellent knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with construction management software and related tools.
• OSHA training or equivalent safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and direct workers and subcontractors; clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Review daily progress and address delays or issues to stay on track.
• Enforce safety guidelines and promote a safety culture on site.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure alignment with design.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with standards and specs.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other professionals; address concerns promptly.
• Prepare reports on job status, progress, estimates, and deliverables.
• Negotiate terms, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
