Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Commercial Superintendent for South Florida. The role leads the construction team, oversees the project life cycle, and ensures on-time, within-budget delivery of commercial projects.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects, enforce site safety, review blueprints, and drive flawless execution. A track record in commercial builds and OSHA knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years proven experience in a similar commercial role.
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
• Exceptional leadership and team management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
• Strong communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Track record of managing commercial projects to completion.
• Cetification in construction management or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring projects stay within time and budget.
• Coordinating and supervising construction teams and subcontractors per plan.
• Implementing and enforcing site safety measures and regulatory compliance.
• Reviewing and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specs for accuracy.
• Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and architects on planning and execution.
• Resolving job site issues promptly to prevent delays.
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Creating and maintaining project documentation including daily logs and reports.
• Managing resources and maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
