Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide staff support on governmental projects across design and construction phases, including new buildings, modernization, or renovations. This on-site role requires strong leadership and coordination with general contractors, inspectors, and project controls.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, plus sixyears of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee validation of products and materials ordered for projects to verify the accordance to the specifications.
• Monitor and assess construction performance while recording construction activities to ensure compliance with construction documentation requirements.
• Manage inspection work in progress to assure that methods, materials, and equipment conform to approved standards.
• Coordinate with the General Contractor and ensure Scheduling of all tests and inspections required by the Contract Documents or governmental authorities and arrange for the delivery of test and inspection reports to the OWNER and Architect.
• Review punch list submitted by others and verify that items on the punch list have been completed and corrected prior to recommending substantial completion to the Owner.

Education

BA/BS in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, plus sixyears of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
