Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Construction Project Leader who will manage project teams and deliver high-quality results across complex construction efforts. You will lead engineers and assistant project managers, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive risk management and stakeholder negotiations to meet financial targets.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of construction experience, including some managerial exposure. OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of construction project individuals by establishing expectations and fostering growth.
• Oversees end-to-end project execution with project teams, monitors progress, and resolves escalated issues to ensure timely completion.
• Approves procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Communicates project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders and ensures documentation compliance.
• Partners with the Superintendent to implement project-specific quality and safety programs.
