Wade Trim is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Construction Team in Taylor, Michigan. A high school diploma and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field are required, with at least ten years of experience; GLWA experience is preferred.

The role includes liaison with clients, site visits, coordinating with contractors, mentoring staff, and managing proposals, scope, schedule, and budget to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering or construction management experience.
• GLWA experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field; PE preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison with the client and stakeholders
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Conduct field site visits
• Coordinate and communicate with contractors regarding construction project activity
• Mentor junior staff
• Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing
• Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget
• Manage resources to deliver project on time and under budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations
• Coordinate construction engineering and administration with project designers and team members
• Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks
• Generate additional sales through business development activities
• Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings
• Assist with project reports and technical presentations
• Attend client, staff and project meetings
• Estimate fees, review project plans and specifications
• Maintain a safe working environment
