Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join our Construction Team in Cleveland, Ohio. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field and 7+ years of experience in engineering or construction management.

A valid driver's license is required. The candidate should be self-motivated with excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills, and be able to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Engineering.
• Equivalent experience in Construction Management or Construction Inspection.
• 7+ years of related engineering or construction management experience.
• PE license and/or CCM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site liaison with the client and community.
• Maintain excellent client relations.
• Oversee staff that perform field inspections.
• Coordinate and communicate with contractors regarding construction project activity.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing.
• Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage resources to deliver project on time and under budget while meeting client expectations.
• Provide design/technical expertise to project.
• Coordinate the design function with various team members.
• Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks.
• Generate additional sales through business development activities.
• Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings.
• Assist with project reports and technical presentations.
• Attend client, staff and project meetings.
• Estimate fees, review project plans and specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
