Job summary

Hamilton College is seeking an accomplished Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee major construction from inception to closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery that complies with codes and institutional standards.

You will lead a cross-functional team, interact with architects, engineers, contractors, and campus partners, support capital planning, and drive continuous improvement across facilities management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Associate degree with significant direct experience or equivalent acceptable.
• Minimum five years, seven+ preferred in progressive construction project management.
• Experience in higher education or public sector construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent the College to architects, engineers, contractors, and campus departments through all project phases.
• Oversee all project phases with regular schedule and budget reports.
• Develop and maintain project logistics plans, schedules, estimates, and feasibility assessments.
• Attend and lead project progress meetings and provide owner representation to ensure conformance with requirements.
• Review and evaluate change orders for cost reasonableness and budget impact.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, conflicts, and delays.
