Job summary

Barton Malow in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will direct procurement, planning, field operations, and cost control while partnering with engineers, subs, and design teams to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, managing budgets in Prolog, coordinating with superintendents, and driving project success on healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 8+ years’ experience in GC/CM Construction Management.
• Experience with Healthcare projects preferred.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Procurement: develop bidders list, bidding strategy, and manage bid documents and data.
• Planning: set up complex project schedule, site logistics, and cash flow projections.
• Field Operations: establish safety plan, manage punch lists, labor relations, and crisis procedures.
• Cost Management: monitor general conditions budget, track change orders, and assist with cash management.
• Management: facilitate meetings, ensure RFIs/submittals are processed, and interface with architects/engineers.
