Job summary

State of Delaware is seeking an Engineering/Planning/Surveying Technician IV to manage and administer projects in NCC, including subdivision streets, entrances, safety permits, and drainage systems. The role supervises inspectors to ensure quality within ROW and requires night and weekend work, plus a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities include preparing inspection reports, coordinating with teams, reviewing plans, and maintaining data records.

Qualifications

• Three years experience reviewing construction plans and details to determine compliance.
• Six months experience planning, organizing and directing crews involved in on-site sampling, testing, inspection and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspects infrastructures to ensure compliance with design plans, materials, safety requirements, and codes.
• Designs, develops, or reviews project/site layouts and related studies.
• Collects inspection data and documents compliance or deficiencies.
• Operates data entry and CAD tools to report on data and drawings.
• Reads and interprets plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Performs related duties as required.
