Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation construction including paving, surveying, signals, and road/bridge work.
• Good reading and interpretation of construction plans and specs.
• Must pass background check and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials used in highway construction on-site for specification compliance.
• Inspect contractor work across phases to ensure quality and safety.
• Read and interpret plans, engineering tables, and reference materials.
• Document pay quantities for monthly and final estimates.
