Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in Knoxville, TN seeks an experienced Project Manager for PCI Knoxville 144 operations. You will lead on-site project management, safety planning, coordination with field crews, and ensuring schedules, costs, and quality standards are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field, 5+ years of project experience, OSHA certification, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in construction project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or comparable field.
• Ability to diagnose key information to protect profitability and navigate project risks.
• Ability to interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scope of work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication; strong work ethic and judgment.
• Self-starter with time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety plans and measures for the branch and projects.
• Follow PCI safety guidelines and programs.
• Create/manage punch lists proactively.
• Implement QA/QC measures for assigned projects.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with field supervisors to optimize sequence and productivity.
• Manage job cost control through annual financial analyses.
• Support Customer Alignment Plan and maintain customer relations.
