Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or equivalent DoD PM experience.
• Six years of project management experience.
• Valid Alaska Driver’s License and clean driving record may be required.
• Quality Management for Contractors Certification (USACE) and EM385-1-1 40-hour Certification.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, Deltek Costpoint, and Primavera P6.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain appropriate clearances for government projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure management of assigned projects per policies, procedures and core values.
• Ensure contract compliance with plans, specifications, quality control plans, and work plans for all crews and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage schedules and budgets for projects.
• Facilitate modification management including cost proposals and contract adjustments.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and review of documents prepared by others.
• Assist Safety Manager to establish a culture of safety on project sites.
• Review safety procedures and coordinate with on-site safety officers and reports.
• Travel to job sites for pre-bid walk-throughs, site visits, owner meetings, and inspections.
