Job summary

Elite is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead construction efforts in a fast-paced environment in Wallingford, CT. This role focuses on ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery through strong leadership, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination.

You will oversee subcontracting, procurement, and cost tracking, while maintaining drawings and coordinating with field teams. Excellent communication and OSHA 10 certification are required; travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction with supervision experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read architecture/engineering drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient MS Office.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Award all scopes of work on a timely basis, including taxes and insurance.
• Draft subcontracts with terms, safety policies, and insurance requirements.
• Buy out the job and assign vendors to each product.
• Be a product expert on Elite's products and services.
• Assign tasks to Project Administrators.
• Coordinate preparation of submittals and POs.
• Prepare project budgets and track costs.
• Maintain current drawings (electronic or paper).
• Track RFIs/ CORs/ sketches and cost impact.
• Write change orders and update Change Order Log.
• Attend kickoff meetings with Field Supervisor, Construction Coordinator, and Estimator.
• Procurement of materials and track lead times.
• Attend job site meetings as required.
• Review daily reports and meeting minutes from Project Superintendents.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and order installation hardware.
• Provide installation instructions to Field Supervisor and teams.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Analyze cost reports and travel as needed.
