Job summary

Cerris Builders in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex construction projects from preconstruction through completion. You will manage field staff, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and safety while maintaining client relationships.

You must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 8+ years of related experience, and strong proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to engage and drive projects from preconstruction through completion.

Responsibilities

• Directs project staff to meet contract documents and schedule.
• Coordinate with owners, vendors, crews, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers for timely completion.
• Manage project documentation including schedules, cost tracking, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
• Negotiate procurement and draft subcontract and purchase orders.
• Lead subcontractor activities with Superintendent to meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate project schedule with Superintendent.
• Manage cost control and forecasting of labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders.
• Lead meetings and ensure safety/compliance.
