Job summary

Stillpoint AEC seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will own execution, financial performance, and client relationships while coordinating between field and office teams.

The role requires managing project budgets, schedules, and supplier performance, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery across the lifecycle of complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred.
• Current project management experience with a commercial general contractor or construction management firm.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects through multiple phases of the project lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, subcontractor management, procurement, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction and project turnover through construction, closeout, and warranty.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, and overall project execution plans.
• Manage project financial performance including cost reporting, forecasting, commitments, change orders, billing, and profitability.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams to maintain project schedules, quality standards, safety expectations, and construction progress.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, scopes of work, buyout, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change management, and subcontractor performance.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and other construction documents to identify scope, coordination, and constructability issues.
• Lead owner, architect, engineer, subcontractor, and internal project meetings.
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with owners, design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with estimating and preconstruction teams during project planning, budgeting, value engineering, and turnover.
• Monitor procurement and long-lead materials to support project schedules and construction sequencing.
• Identify and proactively resolve schedule, cost, quality, contractual, and project execution issues.
• Oversee project documentation, pay applications, change orders, cost reports, closeout documentation, and other project controls.
• Support and mentor Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project team members.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and quality requirements.
