Senior Construction Project Manager – Battery Manufacturing

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager with CSA (Civil Structural Architectural) experience to lead the core and shell construction of a retrofit project converting an existing factory into a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing plant for a high-profile client. The role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of the construction within the agreed timeline and budget, ensuring the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading construction management, including developing plans, designs, and documents.
2. Serving as the primary client contact to ensure alignment of goals.
3. Managing and mentoring architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
4. Overseeing all construction activities, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
5. Managing battery retrofit construction efforts and integrating battery systems with existing infrastructure.
6. Developing innovative solutions for retrofitting facilities for battery manufacturing.
7. Coordinating with design teams to ensure seamless project phases.
8. Monitoring progress and resolving construction issues.
9. Supporting client relationships and business development efforts.
10. Managing staff, coaching, mentoring, and supporting recruitment.
11. Tracking financials, ensuring accurate invoicing, and following up on receivables.
12. Identifying cross-selling opportunities and developing new business.
13. Preparing and delivering client presentations and attending networking events.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in construction and project management, especially large-scale projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and software proficiency.
• Experience with battery retrofit projects and sustainable certifications (e.g., LEED) is preferred.
• Fluency in Korean is advantageous.

Salary range: $150K-$170K per year, dependent on experience and qualifications. This is a base salary range; total compensation may vary.
