Senior Construction Project Manager – Battery Manufacturing

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager with CSA (Civil Structural Architectural) experience to lead the core and shell construction of retrofitting an existing factory into a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing plant for a high-profile client. The role involves ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion of the construction within the specified timeline and budget, maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading construction management, including developing plans, detailed designs, and documents.
• Serving as the primary client contact and ensuring clear communication.
• Managing and mentoring architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Overseeing all construction aspects, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
• Leading battery retrofit construction efforts and integrating battery systems with existing infrastructure.
• Developing innovative construction solutions for retrofitting facilities.
• Coordinating with design project managers for seamless project phases.
• Monitoring progress and resolving construction issues.
• Supporting client relationship management and business development efforts.
• Managing project financials and ensuring accurate invoicing.
• Driving new business opportunities and maintaining client diversification.
• Providing leadership and mentorship to staff, supporting recruitment, and development.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in construction and project management, especially large-scale projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software.
• Experience with battery retrofit projects and innovative construction solutions.
• Knowledge of local construction market and project lifecycle.
• Business development experience, including cross-selling.
• LEED accreditation or similar sustainability certification preferred.
• Fluency in Korean is advantageous.

Salary range: $150K-$170K per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects base salary only.
