Hourigan is seeking a driven Assistant Preconstruction Manager to join our Preconstruction Services team in Virginia Beach. You will assist with budgeting, cost modeling, bid packaging, and subcontract coordination for complex projects, collaborating across Client Solutions and Operations to ensure accurate proposals and presentations to clients.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years' experience in preconstruction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with estimating software such as Smartbidnet and OnScreen Takeoff preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist with reviewing specifications and drawings to determine scope and budget needs.
• Assist with cost model preparation from conceptual to hard bid.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop cost models and estimates.
• Assist with bid packages, pricing from subs and vendors, and subcontract analysis.
• Collaborate with teams to prepare proposals, budgets, and client presentations.
• Identify potential risk factors and escalate as needed.
• Stay current on construction costs, methods, and materials.
