Job description

We’re partnering with a fast-growing data center developer delivering large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure for AI and next-gen technologies. With billions in active projects and a strong future pipeline, they are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead hyperscale data center builds from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site execution of data center construction projects start to finish
• Oversee critical MEP systems including power distribution, substations, UPS, generators, and cooling systems
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and site activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
• Drive schedule-critical milestones including sequencing, long-lead equipment, and site readiness
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders
• Conduct site inspections and mitigate project risks
• Partner with engineering, development, and commissioning teams
• Track cost, schedule, and risk performance
• Support multi-phase campus builds and expansion planning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8–10+ years with a general contractor, including hands-on field leadership
• Proven data center or mission-critical construction experience
• Strong MEP and critical infrastructure knowledge
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar
• Strong understanding of contracts, cost control, and project reporting
• Preferred: hyperscale, AI, or HPC experience; utility/power infrastructure exposure; OSHA certification.
