Job summary

Storm4 is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of large-scale data center projects. You will own construction execution from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover, coordinating general contractors, MEP trades, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects safe, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct data center construction experience.
• 8+ years of overall construction or mission-critical project delivery experience.
• Proven experience managing data center projects from construction through commissioning and turnover.
• Strong knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Experience managing general contractors, MEP trade partners, and on-site project teams.
• Working knowledge of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, change management, and procurement.
• Strong understanding of construction safety, quality, and commissioning requirements.
• Ability to travel regularly to active project sites.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the on-site delivery of large-scale data center projects for a growing digital infrastructure platform.

You will take ownership of construction execution from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover, coordinating general contractors, trade partners, consultants, and internal teams to keep projects safe, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality expectations.

This position is designed for a proven data center construction professional who is ready to lead major projects and project teams. It is not a portfolio-level or executive leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project schedules, budgets, safety, quality, risk, and site execution
• Coordinate general contractors, MEP trades, consultants, vendors, and commissioning teams
• Track project progress, identify delivery risks, and drive issues through resolution
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and contractor performance
• Partner with Development, Design, Procurement, Operations, and Commissioning teams
• Support testing, commissioning, turnover, and operational readiness

Preferred Experience:

• Experience delivering hyperscale, colocation, or similarly complex mission-critical facilities
• Background with a data center developer, operator, general contractor, or specialist MEP contractor
• Experience with phased delivery in live or rapidly expanding data center environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
