Job summary

McCownGordon Construction, LLC is seeking a seasoned construction leader to oversee field operations on medium to large projects in the Kansas City area. You will mentor associates, ensure work aligns with plans and budgets, and drive safety culture on site.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, coordinating with trade partners, and enabling efficient site workflows. You will lead preconstruction collaboration, protect project quality, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or related field, or equivalent mix of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction planning and project setup for pursuits.
• Develop and manage overall construction schedules.
• Review trade partner scopes and contracts before finalization.
• Support permitting and development of GC/GE requirements.
• Lead safety plans, site safety walks, and corrective actions.
• Coach project team on risk assessment and recovery planning.
• Lead weekly progress meetings and manage site documentation.
