Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee multiple construction projects for diverse clients. You will coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.

You will review documentation, manage start-up activities, lead site progress reviews, and document meetings. Travel up to 50% is expected; a flexible hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; 4+ years of project management experience.
• Or 10 years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficient with Deltek, Newforma, SmartSheet and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documentation, including drawings, schedules, scopes, and reports.
• Conduct detailed reviews of vendor proposals and awards in coordination with the client.
• Follow standards and procedures for project reporting, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Lead start-up activities and on-site reviews of construction progress.
• Schedule, lead, and document weekly project meetings during construction.
• Ensure contract terms and specifications are met by inspecting work.
• Perform punch-list inspections and site visits as required.
• Review monthly pay applications for accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate project-related issues, including cost and schedule impacts, to leadership and clients.
• Ensure close-out documentation and punch-list items are completed prior to final release.
• Ensure compliance with laws, building codes, and company policies.
• Establish and communicate project safety requirements and expectations.
