Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced project leader to manage day-to-day operations on complex construction projects in Virginia. You will lead high-performance teams, supervise staff, manage budgets and schedules, ensure QA/QC, and foster client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of related construction experience, with strong communication skills and a proven ability to guide safety and risk management on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 10+ years construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-performance teams through supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
• Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum performance and career potential.
• Develop and improve client relationships fostering a trusted advisor status.
• Understand and administer Turner's contract and subcontract agreements.
• Provide leadership to influence change and promote community involvement.
• Establish, update, and communicate the Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.
• Manage budget and financial reporting to ensure adherence to project budget.
• Oversee QA/QC program and safety protocols.
