Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks a Project Manager to oversee budgets and schedules for multiple design-build commercial construction projects, directing Site Superintendents from buyouts to turnover. You will conduct site visits across Northern California and Northern Nevada, ensuring compliance with plans and specs, while resolving escalated issues.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in scheduling, budgeting, supervising field teams, quality control and production of design-build commercial construction projects.
• Thorough knowledge of building construction, sequencing of trades, practices, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Experience with Procore and Bluebeam essential.
• Leadership ability.
• Must be enthusiastic and professional.

Responsibilities

• Monitor projects for on-time and on-budget completion with proactive changes and overages.
• Participate in OAC meetings from pre-construction to completion.
• Develop business and client relationships.
• Primary point of contact for all project needs.
• Maintain professional relationships with management, clients, consultants, and officials.
• Review project documents for budget, schedule, and contract conformance.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buy-outs.
• Collaborate with Estimating for accurate bids.
• Review and approve RFIs, Submittals, and RFCs.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Manage subcontractor COs and billings.
• Promote and ensure safe work environment in line with safety standards.
