Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC seeks a Project Executive to drive leadership and day-to-day management of large-scale projects. You will coordinate the project plan with Senior PMs, PMs and engineers, manage risk, and communicate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

You will lead contract administration, procurement, and reporting, while fostering teamwork, safety, and operational excellence on active construction sites across our projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline or relevant work experience.
• 10+ years of construction experience on large scale projects as a GC preferred.
• 6+ years leading, developing and motivating teams.
• Understanding of strategic, operational and financial components of a construction project.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors.
• Strong work ethic, leadership and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Ensure understanding of contracts and involved parties.
• Secure permits and verify subcontractor insurance.
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
• Lead, train and develop project team members.
• Prepare and submit monthly status reports highlighting priorities and issues.
• Oversee project close-out, turnover of manuals and warranties, and final payment documents.
• Maintain positive relations with owners, engineers and design firms.
• Set deadlines and monitor project progress.
• Drive safety culture on site.
• Support business development through proposals and presentations.
• Foster an inclusive and diverse team environment.
