Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead day‑to‑day management of large construction projects. You will create a project plan outlining tasks, timelines, and resources to meet goals, and you will lead communication among stakeholders, manage risk, and monitor progress against the schedule.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of construction experience required; working for a general contractor on large-scale projects preferred.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Develop and negotiate relationships with owners and trade contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
• Lead, train, and develop project team members.
• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues.
• Lead project close-out, turnover of manuals and warranties, and final payment documents.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with owner, engineering and design firms.
• Drive safety culture on the project site.
• Support acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations.
• Recruit and retain outstanding people; build teams that deliver results.
