Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, management and execution of construction projects. You will maximize profitability, ensure safety and meet owner expectations while coordinating with the estimator, PM team and superintendents.

Requirements include a civil/construction management degree or equivalent, 5+ years of PM experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and negotiation skills. This is a full-time on-site role in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of five or more years project management experience.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Understands estimating concepts to verify bids and process change orders.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of estimates for the project.
• Prepares project budgets and unit cost reports.
• Leads the project team in preparing the PMP.
• Negotiates owner and subcontractor change orders and manages cost consequences.
